Polishing

WuGang steel experience in polishing stainless steel surfaces began in 2011, initially as a polishing service for neighboring stainless steel distributors and manufacturing workshops. As demand has increased dramatically, polished stainless steel sheet has become one of our main products. In this field, we can provide any specific Ra or grit finish – as fine as a 3 Ra Max.

Strip Processing

A steel plate with a thin thickness, a narrow width, and a long length. Its width is generally 20mm-200mm. Supplied in rolls, its specifications are expressed in thickness×width. According to the quality of the steel, it can be divided into high-quality and ordinary strip steel; according to the rolling method, it can be divided into two types: hot-rolled and cold-rolled, which are called hot-rolled strip and cold-rolled strip respectively. The thickness of common hot-rolled steel strip is 2mm-6mm, and the thickness of cold-rolled steel strip is generally 0.05mm-3.60mm. Strip steel can be made of common carbon steel, carbon steel, spring steel, tool steel, stainless steel and other steel types. Widely used in the manufacture of welded pipes, clamps, washers, spring blades, saw blades, blades, etc.

Vevel & Edge Chamfering

For easy welding or connecting, our clients usually ask us to do the bevel & edge chamfering process for stainless steel sheets. Edge chamfering machine,which can quickly chamfer both sides of stainless steel sheets at the same time and achieve a good finish.

Rolling

The metal billet is passed through the gap between a pair of rotating rolls (various shapes), and the cross-section of the material is reduced and the length is increased due to the compression of the rolls. This is the most commonly used production method for steel production. It is mainly used to produce profiles, Plates, pipes. There are two kinds of hot rolling and cold rolling.

Water jet cutting

Waterjet cutting high-pressure water jet cutting technology is a machine that uses high-pressure water flow to cut. All workpieces can be carved at will under the computer’s control, and will not be affected by the texture of the material. Because of its low cost, easy operation, and high yield rate, waterjet cutting is becoming the mainstream cutting method in industrial cutting technology.

Bend

Under the pressure of the bending machine, the stainless steel sheet first undergoes elastic deformation, then enters plastic deformation. At the beginning of the plastic bending, the steel sheet is free to bend. With the upper or lower molds applying pressure on the material, the steel sheet and the inner surface of the V-groove’s lower mold are gradually approaching. At the same time, the radius of curvature and bending force arm also become shorter, and the equipment continues pressing until the stroke ends to make complete contact between upper and lower molds and sheet at three points. Then, a V-shaped bend ends. That is bending. With a maximum bending tonnage of 3,000 tons, WuGang Steel can bend stainless steel sheets up to 15,000mm in width. Before placing the order, please send us drawings to ensure accuracy in the production.

Custom Shearing

We usually stock cold-rolled stainless steel coils and hot-rolled stainless steel coils with thickness below 10mm. When the client does not need the whole stainless steel coil, we will divide the coil into stainless steel plates that meet the client’s length requirements, and this production method is called plate shearing.

Brushing

Stainless steel brushing refers to the surface treatment process that stainless steel surface processing like a filamentary texture grain effect. Its surface is matte. Looking closely, you can see a hint of the grain on the stainless steel surface but with no tactile reflection. The brushed stainless steel surface will be more wear-resistant and have a decorative effect. Nowadays, stainless steel brushing is the most popular surface treatment process in the stainless steel industry. Usually, the stainless steel surface is combined with the brushing machine to repair and restore the scratches and weld seam and ultimately achieve the overall brushed stainless steel surface.

Laser cutting

Laser cutting is a thermal cutting process that uses an amplified beam of light, the laser, to cut. High power lasers enable high-quality results in metal cutting. Lasers can be used in any metal product, including industrial applications. JUDE’s laser cutting services offer both CO2 and fiber lasers. Although both use a focused laser beam, the beam generation process uses different mechanisms. Both technologies have certain advantages that make them useful in certain situations.

Knurled

Knurling is a finishing process in metal material processing that creates a groove or pattern on the surface of a stainless steel sheet. It achieves by a rotary tool that presses the desired embossing pattern into the metal. Knurling is a decorative finishing process that forms different textures on the surface of the stainless steel sheet. By processing these raised textures, friction on the stainless steel surface has increased, and an anti-slip effect achieves.

Plasma cutting

Plasma cutting is commonly used in producing steel parts for engineering, wind turbines, infrastructure, and motor vehicles(transport, agricultural, and other specialty vehicles) (also for various other materials). Plasma cutting is used in these industries because it is one of the few methods which can provide accurate results on hard materials. It is one of the fastest cutting processes and recognized as one of the most economical cutting processes. JUDE has modern plasma cutting equipment, and we can plasma cut stainless steel plates of 100mm thickness.
